Surely many have come across a situation when it is necessary to change the value of the adaptation channel, for example, in the ESP control unit, but the channel requires a login for writing. It’s good if the login for this channel is known in advance, but if not? VCTool has a fairly large number of logins for this block, but which one is needed? Of course, you can iterate over each one in turn and try to save, but this is very inconvenient! Now VCTool can simplify this task!
If there is at least one login in the VCTool database, then when saving a channel, you can right-click on the “Save” button – this will bring up a context menu in which you can select the option to save a channel with a preliminary selection of a login from the list of available logins for this control unit. If a correct login is found and the channel is successfully saved, the program will tell you which particular login came up!
